Prey | Feral Predator Concepts
One of my first full finalized design for the predator from #prey. I thought it would be cool to see it uncloaked standing on some massive rocks set agains the Great Plains! A juxtaposition agains the dense jungle setting or city of the other films.
This one had feathers and animal hides strapped to its minimal armor that was more minimal to begin with and had some design language that would evoke some of the shapes utilized in the Inuit culture. Showing maybe there is some back and fourth influence between the species.
Also some early sketches to explore the anatomy changes.

Very early sketch, thought the red and black would make it feel extremely aggressive. The proportions were tweaked and predator anatomy played with, trying to stay true to the original while evolving or in this case devolving the lineage a little bit
